Van's Aircraft has enjoyed much success with the RV-12 series, and at AirVenture 2025 the company brought the latest 2026 RV-12iS. It sports some welcomed improvements including a more traditional under-wing-mounted pitot/AoA mast, more charging capability, more comfortable seating, updated Rotax fuel pumps, and a much needed parking brake, to name a few.

I am basically running a fully custom fuel system. Because I am using a Electronic Fuel Injection, we need a fuel return system, that requires a different pump and fuel selector which basically throws the entire vans plan out the window.

Today we flew into Cedar Mills Airport (3T0) in Gordonville, Texas . A beautiful and well-kept grass strip worth checking out. Just a short walk to the Pelican's Landing Waterfront Restaurant.
