There was a pretty stiff wind out of the south, making it pretty bumpy flying along the north side of the Olympics, but not that bad. There was a new fire not too far from Hurricane Ridge that was pumping smoke into the area, but it mostly seemed to be in the canyons in the Olympics. Carl said he could smell the smoke but, fortunately, I couldn't.
