As the RV-12 project moves closer to the ground-running phase, it's time to take a closer look at the Rotax 912 ULS engine installation and do some preventive clean up. Work continues on the lower engine cowling, the canopy frame, plus the team gets creative in fixing an unexpected snag with the fuel tank plumbing. Airplane Hangar Foam Insulation Application and Paint - Plus Apartment Redo! - Subscribe to VansAircraftBuilders.com
I had foam insulation installed in my hangar. This foam conforms to the shape of the hangar interior walls as it dries, and almost looks like regular texture you would see in a home with sheetrock walls. It dries within minutes and is paintable in the same day. It also seals the entire hangar, preventing bugs from getting in. @Vansaircraftbuilders #Vansaircraft
