As the RV-12 project moves closer to the ground-running phase, it's time to take a closer look at the Rotax 912 ULS engine installation and do some preventive clean up. Work continues on the lower engine cowling, the canopy frame, plus the team gets creative in fixing an unexpected snag with the fuel tank plumbing. Vic shows the updates on the RV-10 he is building. The tailcone is attached to the fuselage. The metal portion of the fuselage is finished. He shows the tunnel access cover and step access. He shows where he uses the firewall sealant (see part number below).Then he takes us to his workbench where he demonstrates the shortcuts to speed up the nutplate installation process.
