Tangier Island is located in the Chesapeake Bay. The only way to get there is by boat or plane. A quaint little fishing, crabbing, and oyster village less than two hours from the Raleigh area. Nice 2400' rwy with a short walk in to town and local restaurants.

The seafood is excellent and can't be more fresh. Golf carts available for exploring the island. My favorite travel path is to fly over Norfolk, the bay bridge tunnel and up the eastern shore....very pretty trip. - Submitted by Len Felton
