The Fargo Air Museum -Our planes fly! Various aircraft on display include a flying Japanese Zero, TBM Avenger, Corsair, P 51 Mustangs, and a collection of L Birds at the present time. The EAA 317 chapter meets on Saturday afternoons to work on a Merlin GT and a BT 13 project.
The Fred Quam Research Library includes over 2,000 aviation and military books if one wants to spend time on the observation deck reading a good book within our museum. The museum is open year round and visitors may fly-in to the back ramp, take a tour of the museum and go to lunch across the parking lot at either Applebee's or Buffalo Wild Wings.
Overnight lodging is available across the street at either Homewood Suites, Candlewood Inn or Days Inn. - Submitted by Fran Brummund
